Setting up and designing an office is one of my hidden passions. Whenever I get a new job, I love decorating my workstation with promotional office items to organize myself. If you will inspect my table in the office I work in, you will find different stuff such as headsets, table calendars, pen holders, in-out tray, and other stuff like that.
When I was assigned as an administrative assistant in an advertising agency, part of my job was to be the custodian of promotional office products. I was responsible for procuring and preparing the supplies needed for a certain event. One of the most common things requested from me are expandable custom portfolio holders. As such, I need to make sure that there is more than enough in the stock room.
I was also in charge of the promotional products such as tarpaulins, brochures, flyers, and other advertising paraphernalia. Whenever we have an event, it is my job to imprint the name of the company and the event in custom key chains.
During events, I saw to it that all those who are involved in the project will have their own personalized clipboard. I see to it that the promotional pens are sharpened and that there is a check list of all the things they need to do.
Being an administrative assistant was one of the most challenging jobs I ever had. Nonetheless, I loved the challenge involved in the job.
